Hello,

some of us are interested to have in the LSD format the latest
PanSTARRS1 DVO database (e.g. including proper motions, and various
parameters unavailable in the std ucal_magsqv table). I believe there is
none yet for the db which became available a month or so ago. If you are
interested to get this, let me know, and also which parameters you would
like to get.

Cheers,
Bertrand.

Just a note -- there's some DVO import code in the LSD codebase, but it
needs updating to the most recent LSD infrastructure (I don't think I
touched it since ~v0.2). Take a look at lsd-import-dvo and lsd/dvo.py.
They should be updated/remodeled base on how lsd-import-smf does its job
now.

An (perhaps more straightforward) alternative is to use lsd-import, and
wrap it with scripts traversing the appropriate DVO files. But that will
only allow the import of objects, and wont link to the individual
detections (which may be OK for some of the science).

Cheers,
