I ingested the high-proper-motion catalogue LSPM into LSD: see:
http://www.mpia-hd.mpg.de/home/goldman/lsd/lspm_n.format
(lsd/extalcats)
In case that could help you: I also wrote a simple C-shell script
(with awk scripts) to prepare a .yaml file out of the Vizier catalogue
description, and convert the catalogue into something readable by LSD
(tab-separated). See at the bottom of the page. It is not extensively
tested but I'll be happy to correct any (likely) bug.
Cheers,
Bertrand.
