APICS Certification

Hi All,

I'am Pradeep, Have 2 years of Exp on oracle SCM Modules as aFunctional
Consultant. Would it be good if i choose the APICS Certification.
Please let me know.

Pradeep,

APICS is a very respectable qualification and in my opinion it all
depends on what you are acquiring this qualification for. Any course
or program you undertake to increase your skill sets is GOOD! APICS is
such a qualification.

If you are a job seeker however, you probably need to consider the
market that you are in.

Does APICS qualifications really differentiate you from other job
seekers? In this day and age, this does NOT seem to be the case in
most Asia Pacific countries.

operations as my specialization.i have heard of CSCM certification
from APICS.
i want to know how good is that certification for a fresher like
me,what value will it add to my career,how much time does it take to
complete the modules and what kind of companies do hire these
professionals?

APICS Certifications are more practice oriented certification program. These certifications teaches you the actual "how to" knowledge. I think you can log on to www.apics.org to get more information on these certification. You can even contact KnoWerX on www.knowerx.com who are the APICS associats in India.
