Segmentation Violation

Hi everybody,

I'm a new LS DYNA user and I frequently encounter a problem when I launch my simulation. This message appears:

>>>>> Signal 11 : Segmentation Violation <<<<<

Does anybody know where does it come from? And how could I avoid it?

Segmentation Violation error messages are typically generated when LS-DYNA array storage/allocation runs afoul.

 

Best to contact LS-DYNA support – they will likely need your input file.
