I’m having difficulty defining the mechanical properties for this analysis.
I’m simulating an impact event on a glass substrate with an EVA adhesive layer (EVA is bonded to the glass).
The objective is to determine whether the components detach when the glass is struck. Glass fracture may occur.
Using MAT_024 with erosion for both glass and EVA removes elements and does not represent the real fracture/attachment behavior. Instead, the results should distinguish between:

EVA with broken glass fragments still adhered (glass pieces stuck on EVA)

EVA with no glass fragments (clean EVA surface)
