The number of materials in the base has doubled, resulting in over 160. The collection has been enriched with complex and non-linear models.

I now have almost 40 datasets of *MAT_JOHNSON_COOK coupled with *EOS_GRUNEISEN (and many with cracking and damage), about the same number of HE (JWL, JWL with AFTERBURN/Miller and JWLB), and six datasets of complex polymer models *MAT_SAMP-1 with *MAT_ADD_DAMAGE_GISSMO - this is all that is published in open access by now.

For such complex data, it would be a sin not to add a more convenient UI. So now *DEFINE_CURVE, *DEFINE_TABLE, *MAT_JOHNSON_COOK and *EOS_GRUNEISEN are automatically visualized.

Third major improvement: I have now added units to all models. There is no automatic conversion of parameters to another system yet, but at least it is clear in which system the parameters are now set.

Welcome to the beginning of my free, non-commercial, and open project aimed at making life easier for engineers!

Yuri:

I think this is an outstanding contribution to our profession.  It is very often incredibly difficult to get material data, to get solid reference backups, and to get the proper format.

Thank you!!  I posted on LSPrePost Google Group also.

Regards,
Kim Parnell
