Dear all,
I am facing an error message while running a simulation and in the middle of the simulation.

There seems to be no explanation for the error.
what could be the problem?
how should I solve this?

thank you all in advance

These are the error messages I found in message files. Processors 3,4,6,7,10 include exact same message as processor 2 for different nodes.
what does "SI      201" mean in this message?
what can I do to solve this?

Dear Miguel,

Thank you for your reply. I also have contacts in the model and it stops after the contact has been initiated.
how did you solve your contact problem?

I’ve had something similar in the past.  I had a problem with a corner contact that would stop my simulation.  There should be message files that you can open and search for error.   I ran my analysis on 192 cores, so scanning those message files can be tedious.  Also, scan your results to see if you notice any contact issues.

Another issue that I found stopped my simulations is bolt preload.  Do you have anything like that?

“SI       201” stands for Sliding Interface 201

This small contact penetration is not the problem.

Rather, something is causing elements to deform to the extent that the element’s Jacobian is negative. Have a look at the element numbers listed and try to determine what is causing their distortion.
