I have downloaded older and newer versions of LSPP and notice the same problem where when I try to animate a results contour plot (anything from displacement to stress), the program basically hangs up and I have to abort it.  However animating the displaced mesh doesn't seem like a problem.  It seems like LSPP can't handle the d3plot file size?   or maybe it's a graphics issue?    has anyone else had this problem and is there a workaround?  it's not even a large model, it's just a shell mesh of a beam in impact.

thanks

1\ Have you trip first stepping through all the states and then animating?

2\ This is an LS-PrePost question and should have been posted to that Google Group.
