Regarding debris formation in target plate

Hello all,

I am simulating hypervelocity impact using LSDYNA software. I am using SPH technique to simulate the debris. Now I want to know why the debris are formed like a symmetric “V”-shaped void or separation in the ejected debris. I am unable to overcome from this problem. The debris screenshot  is attached below.

Please share your valuable suggestion .
