Does anyone have any old 235/70/16 tyres lying around that they would like to throw my way? I have a slow leak in one and am unable to buy new ones at the moment.

Or I could try that tyre sealant?

Sandton area.

Paul

Check to see if it’s not just the valve leaking, which is an easy fix. Has happened to me twice

Thanks Steve. No - my swimming pool shows me small bubbles coming from the shoulder.

Hi Paul

At this stage, tyre sealant cannot hurt. I successfully ran a set of old tyres on my first 110 V8 for many years with tyre sealant in them, and the vehicle was used for bundu bashing during fire fighting. Sure, it doesn't help if a proper plug is needed, but in your case, it would probably make a difference.
