Puma non-starter

Has anyone perhaps experienced and maybe found a fix for a 2.4 Puma not starting (not cranking - push start works) after a long run and then resetting by itself after a while?

Don’t know about this problem but had it on my D1 V8. Turned out to be the solenoid in the starter motor would seize when it was hot, after cooling down it would free itself and work fine.
