Hi there,

Does anyone know how to install LRmix studio on 10.15.3?

I have updated my java to 8 update 241. However when I tried to run "lrmixstudio-2.1.5-CommunityEdition-sources”, it says:

The JAVA JAR file "lrmixstudio-2.1.5-CommunityEdition-sources.jar" could not be launched.
Check the Console for possible error messages.

I really need some help as I need the to analyse some mixtures for a mock witness statement, due for my course.

Many thanks,

Clement

Hi Clement
You need to download the software not the sources. The sources are provided for devlopers. So click on first link next to the lastest version.
Hope this helps.
Hinda

Hi Hinda

Thank you for the prompt reply. I did download the zip file and the folder content is shown in the 1st screenshot attached, upon unarchiving:

Which .jar should I run? I did try running all 3 of them, 1 by 1. However, they all display a similar error message (please see the 2nd screenshot).  Any solutions/suggestions?

Hi Clement
You should open the on that ends with edition.jar
A common issue is the way people unzip the folder and where they start the .jar from.
Could you make sure that nothing is blocking java from running on your laptop?
The unzipped folder looks fine from what you show.
Best,
Hinda
