Hi,
I was just wondering if this works on Windows 8? I downloaded and tried to run lreanalyzer099.exe as well as lreanalyzer09964.exe. The splashscreen appears and then goes away. Adnd that's it. There is no application window or anything. It is also not visible in the task manager. Please advice.
Thanks,
Roy

Dear Roy,

Apologies for the problem, which appears to be a fatal crash. Unfortunately, I have no access to a Windows 8 here at work, but do have it at home.

I will get back to you once I have tested it at home, but can say it runs fine with enterprise 7.

Talk to you again soon.

Bob

Hi Roy,

I know it has been a while since your posting, but I was wondering--did you find a way to get the LRE analyzer to open in your system? I am having a similar issue.

Thank you!

Paula

I think I couldn't get it to work. Instead found LinRegPCR which worked.

Hi Roy,

Thanks for you input as indeed this has been a persistent problem for many people. It is now clear that this does not occur if the Java development kit (JDK) is installed and so this problem has remained hidden for many users, including myself.

I have posted a new version on the LRE qPCR website that should start up corrected.

Bob
