Hi,

we recently updated our qPCR software to ABI 7500 2.3 and I'm finding it impossible to import my experiment into LRE Analyzer.  I can import my calibration files (after some editing - the import template is wrong) and my amplicon template, but when I try to import from AB 7500 version 2, I get the pop-ups about the single-strandedness and about the OCF not being entered and the cursor turns into the "busy" circle, but nothing happens.

I have Windows 7 64-bit, but I'm running the 32-bit LRE Analyzer, because the 64-bit version can't find Java 1.6.  According to Java's website I'm up to date with it and I can import a colleague's data generated with the original ABI SDS 3 software and 7500 Version 2.

I'd appreciate any assistence with this, I've spent the whole day trying various permutations.

Regards,
Carin

This error has now been fixed in a new version of the LRE Analyzer that is now available on the LRE website:
https://sites.google.com/site/lreqpcr/program-files

It was caused by a bug generated by partial profiles.

Thanks for the feedback Carin and I apologize for your loss of time.

As always any thoughts, comments, etc. are welcome.

Bob
