I had two 110’s when I lived in Saudi.  How did it make it back legal into the US?  With sand tires, I could run circles around most others.

Anything 25 years old can come into the US and not meet EPA regs.  I am curious as to how he got it registered in Clark County with the DMV Nazis.  I am assuming he had to get catalytic converters put on the exhaust to pass our emissions.

My problem when I checked on bringing one back was that it did not meet like DOT something and that I would need to put a roll bar around the roof.  It was weird and not worth it.  I did roll one once, and the roof did in fact come off.  can we say 500 foot sand dunes

I may be wrong but i though once it was over the 25 year mark all the classic status kicked in and it fell outside a lot of the DOT stuff. Provided he has a title and its passed emissions i would assume a transfer to another resident would be like buying any car, get a new SMOG and take the title to the DMV. 

i'm not sure i would part with any money until i was sure all of the above could be done.
