basic schedule - single ramp up -steady state -  final ramp down
real world schedule - can simulate varying traffic throughout the test duration - very useful for soak tests and tests where you are simulating burstiness (short/long bursts of additional heavy traffic during a steady state situations) .. previously this was done through additional groups in basic "Schedule by group". Now can be done thru real world - less maintenance for the scripts and scenarios once you get a hang of it.

What you are intending to ask is quite vague but still what i can make out
is

Real world schedule is with loads..normal user scenario when at one time
there is a possibility of thousand users logging in the same time
Basic schedule can be when the flow is done by a single user!

Hope this helps a bit!

Cheers
