load generator as a process and service

please help me friends..

What situations we use load generator as a service?

why we need to use load generator as a process?

please give me a clear idea between these two processes...

Hi,

Load generator as a service : In service mode, we don't need to login
into lr generator machine, It starts automatically when the machine is
up.

Load genertor as a process: In Process mode, Login Required and also
need to start the LR agent process.

Thanks for the information. If we need to have it as a service where do u specify? Do we have a separate installation procedure?

Or in short using it as a service mean that the load generation is through cloud??

Simple ,

1. Terminate the LR agent process Mode.( If opened )
2. Go the C:\Doc\Programs\HP\LR\....lib folder and Start the LR agent
as a service mode.
3.Then go to Services.msc and find the HP load runner agent service process .
4.Check and Start the same process with admin rights.
