Hi all,

I am relatively new to Loadrunner, and am struggling a little to get
my head around correlation. I was just wondering if anyone could
recommend any websites (or other web applications?) that would be good
practice for scripting and require a decent amount of correlation?

Any help that you can provide is very much appreciated.

Thank you for your time,

James

Please make use of the sample applications which ship with LoadRunner. Use
of the tool against any website you do not own, manage or have written
permission to test against is quite problematic consider the prohibitions in
the license agreement against such actions.

Hi ,
I have learnt loadrunner concepts from below site.
I would suggest you to go this for basic and than read vugen tutorial.

Thanks

The sample application is good for learning...go through that..
if you try any other sites it would be difficult as you cannot predict production environments

James - thanks for the heads-up. I didn't plan to run any actual tests
against sites or applications that I did not have permission for.
Would simple scripting of a site still present problems?

Rachna - That is exactly what I am looking for, thank you very much!

Best regards,

James

I would encourage you to read the license agreement and come to a conclusion
for you and your organization. There are so many opens source apps that
you could bring in-house and install on your own systems that going out and
hitting other people's sites seems not worthwhile to me.
