I have searched the posts in this forum for "truclient checkbox" and "checkbox", "check box", "truclient check box" and many other variations of these for anything similar and have not found anything that answers my question so I am posting a new question with hopes that someone out there has already figured out how to accomplish this task:

I am recording an application using TruClient protocol (both IE and Firefox).  Part of the business process is to determine if a checkbox is checked or not and do specific tasks based on this determination.  It is important that I not actually change the value of the checkbox but rather take a specific path through the business process if checked=true.

I can use a verify step and I can see that the checkbox object exists, but I can not find a way to determine if the checkbox is checked or not.

Does anyone have any sample code or setup that demonstrates if this is possible or not.

Thanks,

Craig

Since a check box checked has the attribute checked why not set a web_reg_find with the appropriate LB, RB

<input type="checkbox" name="vehicle" value="Bike" checked>

Have you considered staging your data so you "know" the state of the checkbox?
