Hi Team ,

While executing the script from VuGen Engine i am getting "File Download" pop ups continuously.

Here I have not recorded the script I had placed the requests by using firefox So I should run the Run time viewer  to check the pages.

Please suggest me how to block them.Any setting are available in LR to control them .

I have done the  following setting too. But no use .

1)  Go to Internet Explorer -> Tools > Internet Options -> Security tab
2)  For the Local Intranet and Internet, do the following
3)  Hit Custom Level
4)  Enable "Don't prompt for client certificate selection when no..."

Thanks in advance ,

Turn off the run time viewer and increase your log level in the development phase

Open VUGen->Click Tools on the Menu bar -> General Options -> Display -> UnCheck show browser during replay...what it would do, it would turn off the Run Time Browser/Viewer....Turn on Extended logging....and see for any errors shows up, it will not pop up the "File Download" after doing this step....

Thank you,
Manik

Thank you for your replys,

1) But the problem is i need to watch the run time viewer as most of the times  our script issues will be solved with run time viewer only.

2) For the same scripts in another machine i am not getting those Pop ups as well. So I think some setting might be missing on the machine.

If possible please help me out.

Thanks ,

Hi Sree,
Please record your script by turning of Pop Blocker in your Mozilla firefox.
Follow below steps in Mozilla Firefox:
1. Goto Tools.
2. Select Options
3. Select Content and Check whether "Block pop-up windows" is checked or not?

Thanks,

Hi

There is an option in Run time setting, all the pop ups information we can filter...

list those url in filter and record the same script once again.
