Hi All,

We were trying to run a ‘Java Vuser’ script type in HP Performance Centre Controller, but the scripts are failing with the error message ‘Failed to find Java.exe’.

Version of Performance Centre- v11.0

Run-time settings we have configured:-

-          Java VM: Use Specified JDK -> C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.6.0_38\

-          ClassPath: C:\Program Files\Java\jdk 1.6.0_38\lib; D:\Jars\connector.jar; D:\Jars\com.ibm.mq.jar

We have installed Java/JDK and stored these jar files in the specified location on the LG, still we are getting this error.

We have done some modifications to the run-time settings based on some suggestions we got. The configuration we are using now is:-

       -Java VM: Use Specified JDK -> C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jdk1.6.0_38

  -  ClassPath: C:\Program Files (x86)\HP\Load Generator;D:\Jars\connector.jar;D:\Jars\com.ibm.mq.jar;C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jdk1.6.0_38\lib;

       - Setup the JAVA_HOME, CLASSPATH, Path in the environment variables.

But now we are getting the error " Error:Compilation process failed".

 Any pointers on why we facing this issue and any modifications we should be doing in this regard would be much appreciated.

Thanks in Advance

 Rakesh.

Does it work in VUGEN but not on your load generator from Performance Center?  If yes, then you need to modify your load generators’ installation of Java to be identical to that of your reference working system

32 bit Java.  MDRV is 32 bit.

If you installed VUGEN as part of your load generator installation then you could remote into the LG and see exactly what the errors are when attempting to run the virtual user locally when compared to your reference working system?

Or, is it the case that you cannot get the virtual user to run in VUGEN, far before placing it in Performance Center and sending it to Load Generators elsewhere?
