what is the Formula used for Calculating the Actual TPS.

Do you agree : Actual TPS = Passed Transactions / Time... is this Assumption right.

Thanks

Use clear cache on each iteration under browser emulation in RT if you're running the script for multiple iterations. Do enlighten us about the business process you're concerned about measuring response time and where have you found it to be less than actual? in Vugen or Controller?

Hi All,
In one of the applications transaction response time measured with LR start n end transaction is lesser than the actual transaction time measured while accessing application manually.Difference is considerable. What could be the reasons and logic(browser rendering or something else) if anybody has experienced the same.

Thanks,

TPS - Transaction Per Second.

Formula - TPS = Total Response Time (Including or not Including Think Time it all Depends) / Time

Execute you Business Process with Approx. 5 VUsers in Controller for about 5 minutes or 10 iteration, whatever the 90% u get is the Total Response Time Per Transaction you have Divide it by 60 will give you Transaction Per Minute or Divide it by 3600 will give you Transaction Per Second per user.... or use pacing to give you the TPS u want to achieve...

Thank you,
