Hi All,

I am facing an issue for uploading a file via vugen script. It got recorded as custom_request with only filename but no path(from where to browse the file to upload).
And file content is also not there in the custom_request function. Only just filename. (any file name with extension .pdf,.xlsx)

I rewrote the custom_request into submit_data adding file location and script is passing but in the backend file is not uploaded.

I tried to record with web-click & script Ajax-click & script protocols but no luck.

Could you please help in me in this regard ?

Thanks
Raju

Hi Raju, try using the path with double backslash or even 4 backslashes to separate the folder ....

Hi Raju, did you follow the steps suggested by Yathish? Are you still seeing an issue? If possible post your upload step code?

Karun

Add your file to "Extra Files" in script, using "add files to script folder". And then just use the name of the file in web submit/ custom request.
