Hi All,
I am having tough time analysing the results. After collating the
results manually, I dont see the transaction names, instead of that I
am seeing some random numbers displayed.

I got to collate results manually, because Controller crashed for me
during the test. So I had done the result collation manually, by
copying all the .eva files from respective injectors to Controller. I
neither see any .map files generated in the injector system nor the
controller system for that specific run. Now i am not able to relate
the numbers with the transaction names.

I want to know, is there any place where I can find the mapping of
the number with transaction names.

I would appreciate if someone help me here.

Thanks in advance.

If your test crashed abruptly in the middle then even if you manually collate the files the chances of recovery is extremely less.

HP load runner tool has many issues like that. When controller crashes during the load test, it is very difficult to get the data back. Try to open a ticket with HP Support site and they should be able to help u.

Hi Chaitanya,
Thanks for the reply.
Is it that, all the time when there is a crash to contorller, we see
this behaviour of not showing transaction names properly?

Saw your site. Nice blog. Keep up the good work.

Thanks,
Umesh

Thanks Krishna and Venkat.

I had followed link and was able to collate results manually. But I am
not having .map files created for each of the injector system.
Well I am yet to try the last step mentioned by Krishna...
<<<
Try if this can work
----------------
If the .map file are corrupted, re-run the same scenario for 2-3mins
atleast and get the .map files from LGs and include the .map file in
the old scneario LRR folder.
>>>

Thanks,
Umesh

Hi Vijai,
I am using both LR Controller and Analysis with version 9.5. I do get
the transaction names properly for my prior tests. But when there is a
crash to controller and when i do the collation of results manually. I
am facing this issue.

Thanks,
Umesh

Check to ensure that the versions of your Load Generators match your controller for Major.Minor<patch> release.
