Software caused connection abort. Error code : 10053.

Hi,

I am using WINSOCK for our middleware load testing. I have done the
scripting using winsock with Loadrunner 8.1 + Feature Pack 4 on
WinXP(SP2).

my problem is when i am running this winsock script sometimes it is
running fine and sometimes it is throwing the following error.

Error : socket1 - Software caused connection abort. Error code :
10053.

any help in this regard is highly appriciated.

Are you running in process or in thread mode? And have you tried changing this? I'm also interested in the status of the mmdrv process on your LoadGenerators when these errors occus.

Hi Gert,

Thanks for your reply. I tried changing the vuser run mode as process
and thread. But still it is throwing the same error. I am using the
trial version of the load runner but for VUGen there is no licensing
know. I hope this issue is not related to licensing.
