HI,

I am doing a performance testing using Virtual User Generator and HP Performance Center.

The only problem I have is when a Vuser is failed he isn't restarted automatically. Witch is messing my results.
I want to test the application when there are 50 concurrency users and I want to run the tests for hours I can't stay in front of my computer to reset failed Vusers. So when one user fails I am not testing my app with 50 users I am testing it with 49 users and so on.

If user failles I want to see the error and want the user to be reseted automatically.

Is this possible?

Thanks

Lookup the lr_continue_on_error function in the on-line help.

You should probably make some changes in the script first before moving it to the controller. Perform a condition check right exactly where you think the Vuser is failing in the script and you know what to look for in the on-line help.

Run this with all logs set to log maximum logging on error, then when
a user fails stop the test and download the log. That is really the
only feasible way.

Good luck fixing your bugs.

'Many people asked me if I was afraid to fly and implied that I should
have stayed home, close to family and friends. I replied that if I had
stayed home, the terrorists would have won.

Unfortunately, my government does not agree with my definition of
winning. They think that living in fear and trying desperately to keep
us all 100% safe while flying is the most effective way to fight
terrorism. It reminds me of a boss that told me he liked it when
people lived in fear of being fired, they worked harder. I told him
being fired held no fear for me. When you live in fear, you do
irrational things - like sending millions of people's shoes through an
xray scanner every day.'
