Your error is likely not on this page, but a previous one. Make sure
you are checking content for valid page returns from each server request
and then branching your code as appropriate if the correct page is not
returned.

What's the scariest question you can ask a potential candiate, "Can you
please present a fully qualified performance requirements and explain
what makes the requirement fully qualified?" If your tester cannot
identify fully qualified or even poor requirements how will they be able
to construct an effective test?

Hello Nishant,

URL=https://{URL}/Service/Dashboard.svc/contact/id/123456
Referer=https://{URL}/dashboard/dashboard.aspx

I donot understand what {URL} means here or you have explicitly written here .

Isha

{URL} represents a parameter.

Change the method PUT to POST and check.

hey nishant

I think Http status code - 405 error might be server side error.

first u have to check the url with ur development side people or else hit the url check by manually......

please tell me If Iam wrong

Thanks & Regards,
Nayeem

Best method, turn on full logging and look at the response transaction by transaction.

Dont come running to the forum if you dont understand something, look at the response and see whats causing it and use google to full use.

You will lot of new things and also understand a lot more things about client server response.

Hey

 Where is PUT in Load Runner coming from ?

Try POST.

I see others mentioned the same.. Just insisting.

I do not see this as server side issue.

Thanks,

Karthik.

Again.. it is very clear.. This is METHOD not allowed.. So check the METHOD parameter... use POST.

May a simple thing.

Had you been able to address your problem?

HTTP Status code 405 means: A request was made to a URL using a request method not supported by that URL; for example, using GET on a form which requires data to be presented via POST, or using PUT on a read-only resource

Instead of speculating, or passing expert opinion without being an expert, one might like to know what means HTTP Status code 405 :)

Sorry to open this thread a year after it was posted - just going through my unread emails under Blogs label :)
