Hi All,

I am recording an application through Citrix_ICA protocol (Single)
which resides on Citrix Server. While recording I am importing ICA
file in recording options. The ICA file, which I have got, connects to
a remote desktop. On remote desktop I need to open Internet Explorer
and browse through some link.

Its getting recording successfully but when I am trying to replay the
script, Its failing and giving following error :

ctrx_sync_on_window("XXXX") failed. The window does not exist.

The error is coming on the following loadrunner function :

ctrx_sync_on_window("windowname", ACTIVATE, x_start, y_start, width,
height, CTRX_LAST);

I have tried putting think time before this function but still its
failing on replay.

Please suggest a way out of this.

As long as you are just verifying the window title name you can just use ctrx_win_exist function. ctrx_win_exist is far more reliable function than the former.

I will try to use ctrx_win_exist function.

Is it possible to record through Citrix_ICA protocol where the
resolution of the local desktop ( from where the recording started) is
different from the remote desktop (to the script is connected) ?

Everytime I record I get different resolution parameters in
ctrx_sync_on_window function.

Hi,

I think you can set the resolution at the time of recording in login of recording option.
please check the recording option. So that you wont face the other error also.
