Hi,

I am testing a java based thick client application  which uses a java webstart to launch and http protocol.

I am using Lr 11.52..jdk 1.7 up 45.There were certain certificate updates made to cacerts file at:program files/jdk/jre/lib/security location  to launch the application manually.

The cacerts file was replaced with the updated cacerts file and I was able to launcht he application manually.

When I try to launch the application using loadrunner;application does not get launched.

I updated the jre folder in vugen installation with latest certificates..updated the PATH and ClassPATH variable in environment variables to point to the correct java version still no luck..

My guess is Vugen is not able to read the correct cacerts file which is specified in the program files\jre\lib\securtiy....

Any help on this one gurus?

Thanks you,

Alok Deshpande

Alok,
We faced the same issue and we got JVM cannot be Created.
What we believe is LR uses 32 bit Jre and java webstart you are using Jre 1.7 which I assume is 64 bit. I believe when this application launch using java web start it call some 64 bit DLL of jre which does not be a compatible with 32 bit dll of LR.
We moved to Rational Performance Tester 8.2 and able to work fine.
Thanks
Amit

VUGEN and MDRV are 32 bit products.  Beware crossing the WOW32 machine frontier.

Please do not reply all to posts.   This causes double messages to occur

Use a 32 bit edition of Java is you want to stay inside of the WOW32 subsystem
