Correlation of siebel application

Hi everyone,

I have to apply load on some Siebel application, but i am getting
problem with correlation. I recorded the script with Siebel-Web
protocol but i am not able to see server response. Because of this i
am not able to correlate row id. then i again record the script with
auto correlation but when i replay the script it got failed at some
correlation function. Can anyone tell me the best way to correlate the
siebel application.

In case of Siebel correlation is a real pain in the ass.
So bad that IBM has created the "Siebel Correlation Library", a DLL to
make scripting a lot easier.
Search the PDF documentation of Vugen for "Siebel Correlation Library"
for more information.

I also wants to perform manual correlation but i am not able to see
server logs. Can you please tell me how to perform manual correlation
for siebel web application.

Hi James,

I am using LR 8.1 version and after recording when i am trying to see
server response it is showing nothing in server response. That's why i
am not able to manual correlate this. Kindly let me know how to
resolve this issue.

Start Vugen, press F1, search for "Siebel Correlation Library" and
there you go:
"To assist you with correlation, Siebel has released a correlation
library file as part of the Siebel Application Server version 7.7.
This library is available only through Siebel. The library file,
ssdtcorr.dll, is located under the siebsrvr\bin folder for Windows and
under siebsrvr/lib for UNIX installations." (etcetera)

Hi Vicky,

This thing happens with me to.......  so in diff situation i found diff solution by trying new things ...... try this may be you find a solution for your self too.

1.Try to take value from generation log put it and try to run may be you find if not try to change ORD value. this is best you can do in this case.

2.In my case we work on remote machine....... 4 machines alloted to us so i changed my remote machine for recording and i found server response in new recording  ......... you try to change your machine ........ record on some other machine may be you also get it .

For siebel Correlation, You can follow what expert suggested but I
dont know if have get dll file from HP. 'ssdtcorr.dll'. You can
contact HP and they should provide you that file.
Save that file in C:\Program Files\HP\Virtual User Generator\bin (or
directory where vugen is located)

After putting that file inside bin directory.

launch cmd.exe and go to the directory where you just put the file in
C:\Program Files\HP\Virtual User Generator\bin and type "regsvr32
ssdtcorr.dll"

That will unable Automated correlation for Siebel which saves your time.
