Hi,
I wonder if someone knows a way of generating an automated report with
load runner after each run in HTML.
Something like to integrate load runner into continuos integration.

The idea would be to automaticlly schedule a run. At the end of the
run and html report is generated and saved in a remote server which is
accessible via a browser..

Thanks.

We don't have a license for performance center so we need to do it
from the generators or the controller.

I know is possible to generate an html report with the analyzer but
that is not automated.

Any idea how to achive that?

Albert

See end user documentation for analysis utlity with templates and HTML.
This has been possible since about version 6 of LoadRunner.

Thanks.

Right. But for that you need to do it manually.

My idea is to have a autogenerated html report after every run that is
scheduled during night. So in the moorning i can see it from a
browser.
The main question is, can this be done with the generators and some
controller setting. Wihout the Analyzer tool?

You "can" this manually, you "can" also do this on an automated basis. This
has been the case for years.

(1) Load Analysis Automatically at the end of the test
(2) Have a template defined which outputs to HTML in a particular location
(3) Exit at the end of the Analysis generation

For details, read the user documentation. It's all there.

Hi,

Using LoadRunner 11.00 you can trigger a command from Controller post the collate process. You can set the command from Controller > Tools > Options > Execution Tab > Post Collate Command.

This command may be triggering your own client that activates the new .NET based API for Analysis application.
> This API is well documented and there is also  a sample application with code samples.
> This API supports generating reports automatically

After you read about it a bit, if you have more specific questions, please raise them.

Thanks,
Shlomi
