Hi guys,
I had recorded website google as an example. I recorded the script
like Launch Google-->Enter the search option(eg. loadrunner)-->Click
search-->Select a link displayed for search result.
In this I had to correlate the links that are searched and randomly
select any link and open it. I had done correlation and
parameterization.
I am not able to go ahead with it. i think there might be a function
to use, but not able to get it.

Do you have their permission to test their website from someone in authority
to grant such permission?
If the answer to the above is 'No' then you should not be testing against
Google, unless this is a locally owned Google appliance that your
organization has purchased and is running within your enterprise. Read the
license agreement that ships with LoadRunner and you will understand.

If you don’t own it, control it or have explicit written permission to test against it, then don’t do it. It’s not yours. This is as much about the license agreement (where this is spelled out in legalese) and common courtesy in respect for other people’s property and how they have allowed (licensed) it to you for your use.
Viewed another way, I have a neighbor who travels quite often. When he is out of town I have another neighbor who simply helps himself to the absent neighbor’s driveway, using it to park some aging automobiles. Of course these aging automobiles are not ‘sound’ when it comes to their seals, pumps and such so stains from all sorts of automotive fluids have formed on my neighbor’s driveway where these automobiles have been parked. Yet, despite being asked many times to stop by multiple neighbors as well as the owner the person keeps parking there. This will probably become a legal entanglement at some point, yet if the offending neighbor has a sense of common courtesy and a respect for the property rights of others we would not have this issue.
As the license disallows this behavior, don’t do it. If you have a problem with it, then use is as a negotiating point when you go to purchase more licenses or to renew your license to have the offending or restricting items stripped for you to have a custom license. Expect to pay for the privilege of a custom license, but until the sheriff (Hp) says you can point your inherently dangerous device (LoadRunner) at anyone (sites you don’t own, manage or have explicit permission to test against) you should respect the restrictions and just don’t do it.
For discussions involving trademarked items, such as Windows®, use restrictions are very different. With LoadRunner you have a license which notes pretty clearly which uses are acceptable and which ones are forbidden. Most software has restrictions in use. I particularly like this one from the Java license agreement, “You acknowledge that Licensed Software is not designed or intended for use in the design, construction, operation or maintenance of any nuclear facility.” So, no using Java for the control interface for your home-built fusion reactors! ;)
