part of the Ojai to QS walk 5/3-8 ?

Billy (and Nicola), 

this is still just half-planned but that is often how my trips go until I actually start.

I may be leaving from Ojai to walk to QS on 5/3 (this coming Tuesday).

If you only wanted to do an overnight (or two-nighter?) you could get out at piedra blanca trailhead.

You could hitch out or leave a car there perhaps--

I will probably(?) be bussing from Santa Barbara to ventura then to Ojai on Tuesday, in which case I only get a little ways into the forest by that evening. . .

The only other trips I have planned are also longer--

5/8-12 (Quail Springs to Spirit Pine).

the next option would be

5/13-  5/19 somewhere in there for a short overnight.

I have trouble planning in the short trips Billy, 

but I did enjoy the walk we had earlier this year and

hope we can figure something out before I start travelling north to get to Seattle by 6/19.

Nicola is at the PC gathering and might want to walk too--

you both have cars and may be able to shuttle if you only did the first part of the hike.

I'm not sure how safe cars are at piedra blanca trailhead overnight, however.
