I would like to know what you think about this idea: I think that the
extra weight we will hang from the box to control it, should be
aligned with the box's axis of gravity. I think I can explain this
idea better in person

Wanted to get a time the new box team could start meeting down to
start hammering this thing out. I personally dont have anything but
school on tues and thurs. so any other day of the week at pretty much
any time is good for me.

Hey new box guys...I want a cost, performance, weight benefit analysis
for the use of those Li batteries. I want to be convinced they are the
best solution for routine use as the power source for the control box.
There around 15.00-19 each for the D size.

We will need a bit more info before we can put together something. For
instance the power draw of the componets, the desired length of
mission (for instance a longevity mission this might be almost
required) and im sure more factors im not thinking of right now off
the top of my head. currently, for that kind of price increase im not
convinced myself. Some data on how the perform at our power
requirements would help a lot. (and since we dont know our power
requirements thats kinda hard to obtain)

did a little wright up on the batteries we have considered including
alkaline. It is deffinitly some good news if the data we gathered
today was accurate. I posted the doc in the files area. It is called
power expectations.doc.
