SIX years ago this week, a husband and wife team, Max and Gwen
Roullier, put a satellite dish on the roof of their house on a hill
overlooking the small southern Queensland town of Beaudesert. From the
dish they spread the ``Word''. Those listening to the Christian radio
service in the valley behind the Gold Coast hinterland probably
numbered a handful of people, but the backyard operation has evolved
into a radio network supported by conservative Christian faiths that

Just before Christmas, eight of the 13 narrowcast radio licences on
offer from the Australian Broadcasting Authority were bought by UCB
Vision at auction
