to LPON ULPON LPFM Narrowcast radio NZ australia
Holders of low power open narrowcasting licences (LPONs), currently
not providing a radio service, should be put on notice by the Minister
for Communications, Information Technology and the Arts,
The new Minister shoild direct the Australian Communications Authority
(ACA) to address the issues related to the stockpiling of LPON
licences as a matter of urgency.
'Many of the 1500-plus radiocommunications licences issued for LPON
services are not operational,'
One idea is to charge triple licence fees for non use or give them a
final three months to get them on air ( A use it or lose it notivre )
These "[people" are standing i the way of peopple who want to use them
One Natrrowcast LPON was sold for $600.000 recently
