Took some time and patience, but I did want to let you know I did
receive my "gift" card from MusiCares today (Jan. 11), via Fed. Ex.
Also, I finally got some "extended" benefits from the LA Dept. of Labor
for a two week period. And now, they say I am on the books for the
Disaster Unemployment Assistance Plan, which does have "easy" call,
using a "1-888" phone number. It took some work and hanging on the
phone for long periods of time, but I did get to speak with real people
who did work through the "fill in the blanks" of the application. Good
luck to the rest of you. Hope to see many of you in CA during
