Vasculata is NAVBO’s summer course providing an introduction and overview of the field of vascular biology – perfect for students who wish to broaden their knowledge base in vascular biology.

Vasculata will provide more than just great content from the many scheduled lectures.  Vasculata is a course, not a conference, giving students the opportunity to start building their peer network in an informal and friendly environment.  Students will get helpful feedback on their current research projects (during poster sessions), learn new techniques in hands-on workshops in small group settings (pre-registration required), improve their grant-writing skills, and discuss the importance of diversity, equity and inclusion to their professional career.

Students (undergraduate, graduate or medical) who identify with a group underrepresented in vascular biology, can join NAVBO through a special complimentary membership program which will help them save on registration to Vasculata by making them eligible for the member discount. Find out more about this membership program on the NAVBO web site
