Prime sponsor CO Rep Karen McCormick has introduced HB24-1075 "Analysis of Universal Health-Care Payment System!" Your advocacy can help see this bill passed in Colorado. The goal is for both House and Senate to pass it by March 25 ahead of the long bill that tends to slow everything down; several actions are planned to help you do just that.

Coloradans for Protecting Reproductive Freedom Campaign Launch

When: Noon to 2 p.m. Monday, Jan. 22

Where: West steps fo the Colorado State Capitol, 200 E. Colfax Ave., Denver, 80203

Description: The event launches the 2024 ballot measure campaign to protect abortion from government interference and marks the 51st anniversary of the Roe V. Wade Supreme Court Decision.

Health Care Day of Action 7:30-9 a.m. Feb. 7 in the old Supreme Court Chambers, then 9 a.m. to noon in the Capitol’s basement. Colorado. Contact your legislator ahead to make an appointment to talk with them about the bill. You can also visit their office that day—you may discover your elected leader’s aide ready to listen. Legislators love to hear from regular people who care about the work they do. This event is hosted by Health Care for All Colorado.
