Why are we meeting on Wed?

Board,

 

   Please explain again why we are meeting on Wed?  If it is to discuss options with the Wrestling program, then it can wait until our regularly scheduled monthly meeting.  But if it is to vote on or change anything dealing with the Wrestling Program itself, then we as a Board are in violation of our By-Laws (see below).  Therefore, if it is the latter, then I propose we cancel this Wednesday's meeting.  Also, please bring your budget proposals to this month's regular meeting.  Todd and I will have to sit down and make a budget by 31 Dec.  Then the Board has until 31 March to approve it.  Thanks!

Amendments

 

10.1.        These Bylaws may be amended at any Club meeting by a vote of two-thirds of those eligible Club members present and voting and effective only after the date of said approval, provided that any such amendments are published previously at two (2) regular monthly meetings and that all the general membership was notified of the proposed change and subsequent voting date.

 

10.2.        Proposed amendments that are contrary to or violate Tri-County Youth Football Conference rules, Illinois Kids Wrestling Federation, or other applicable governing directives for Club sponsored youth sports shall not be considered.
