Board:
I would like to purchase 23 T-shirts from our apparel order for my team. I plan on giving these away to the boys as an end of season gift instead of a trophy. We have a team slogan we have used all season of Work Hard, Get Better, Have Fun…I would like to have this silkscreened on the back of each of the t-shirts.
Does anyone have any problems with me putting our slogan on the back?

Sounds like a wonderful idea. Can I be on your team? lol
Also, so other board members know I am selling approximately 20 visors to the All-Star parents. When we fundraiser through the Rams they must have a visor so I made it mandatory that they buy the LP visor at the $10 retail price.

Umm, I think that I might have to think on this for a bit...

Although you might as well as give them a trophy too since it is free
I like your slogan although I would have chosen:
Crush your opponents, see them blocked and tackled before you, and
hear the lamentations of their fans
Just kidding.
I'm sure your kids will like the shirts and the slogan you are buying
for them

I’m covered on that because I modified Conan’s philosophy. When Conan was asked what is best in life, his response was:
“Crush your enemies, see them driven before you, and hear the lamentation of their women”
I believe I have altered his original philosophy for winning on the battlefield to a slogan appropriate for football to protect myself from litigation from the Governor of California.

I know this has been brought up a million times but we REALLY need to keep the google group emails to pertain strictly on Board business. I propose that we only use the google group for changes in meetings, Penny's minutes, email votes and other simple board stuff (if it requires discussion we need to respond only to the person who its directed to OR bring it up at the next Board meeting). I am personally done with the back and forth comments/jokes. I'm not sure about everyone else but I get about 20-30 LP emails a day (thats a good day if we aren't emailing the hell out of the google group).
Also, is tonight a regular make-up meeting or a ER meeting? I never saw our agenda for tonight so I wasn't sure if it changed to a regular meeting. Kurt/Erik, do you guys plan on attending at 7:00? I don't have much to say about cheer tonight but I will be there because I have a lot to say about how the Board has been running.
When are the nomination forms due? I would like to see who is running before I make a decision to commit to another year of insanity. |
