January Update

Board:
I am going to be out of town all week attending my National Sales Meeting for work. Please email me if you have anything, however, my response time might be a little slowed due to the meeting. Below is a quick bullet list of items for January
1. Two board meetings this month – 2nd and 3rd Wednesday of the Month (1/14 & 1/21)
2. I am still waiting for the third bid on our website. I was told by the vendor we would have it before Christmas, but as of this evening I have not received the bid. Right now we have two bids one from MidAmerican (attached) the other from DataJacks who declined to submit a written bid and only offered a verbal bid of between $5,000 - $10,000. If we do not receive the third bid by the end of this week I believe we should move forward with MidAmerican so we can get the site up and running no later than mid February. We have already missed out on three weeks waiting for the third bid. If we would have gone with MidAmerican, we would be within a week of having a new website.
3. Please look at the attached spreadsheet and make any updates. I requested this a couple weeks ago. This is just a reminder.
4. I have been working on the updated bylaws. A special thanks to Portia Kayser and Chris Van Driel for all their help. We are finalizing the first draft and I should have them to you by the end of the week for you to review and for discussion at our second meeting in January. I would like to have a vote by the membership in February to approve the new bylaws.
