REFLEXÕES SOBRE A LINGUAGEM: DE BAKHTIN À ANÁLISE DO DISCURSO

RESUMO: No presente trabalho, é examinada a concepção discursiva de Bakhtin, a partir de suas noções de dialogia e de enunciado. Segundo o autor; no enunciado, é possível vislumbrar diferentes vozes que estabelecem e si relações dialógicas. O enunciado é, de fato, uma unidade discursiva, já que é uma resposta a enunciados anteriores e também está ligado àqueles o seguem. Por essa razão, não é possível estudá-lo a partir de uma simples abordagem lingüística. Na seqüência, o trabalho contrasta as noções 1tinianas com as formulações desenvolvidas pela Teoria da Enunciação e pela Análise do Discurso. Inicialmente, a noção de polifonia de Ducrot é analisada e, a seguir a concepção de enunciado dividido de Courtine. A leira possibilita a ocorrência de valores antagônicos associados a sujeitos rentes no bojo de um mesmo enunciado. A segunda permite que diferentes sujeitos históricos instaurem diferenças, divergências, antagonismos no seio de um enunciado discursivo, fazendo soar constitutivamente o discurso-outro no discurso do sujeito. Contrastando com Bakhtin, pode-se dizer que não se l de relações entre enunciados, mas de relações internas ao enunciado.

ABSTRACT: Starting from Bakhtin's notions of statement and dialogism, paper examines his discursive conception of language. According to him, possible to discern different voices in the statement which establish among it other dialogical relations. The statement is in fact a discursive unit, e it is an answer to previous staments and is also linked to those which, follow it. For that reason, it is not possible to study them from a simple linguistic roach. The next step is to contrast Bakhtin's notions with the conceptions developed in the Theory of Enunciation and in Discourse Analysis. Firstly, rot's concept of polyphony is looked upon; secondly, Courtine’s concept of divided statement. Whereas the former allows for the occurrence of antagonic values associated to different subjects within the same statement, the latter allows different historical subjects to establish differences, divergences and antagonism in the kernel of the discursive statement, making discourse of the other sound constitutively in the discourse of the subject. In these conceptions it is a matter of relations within the statement whereas in Bakhtin's it is a matter of relations between statements.
