Do you think by adopting Sohrab relieved the guilt Amir has felt for all them years?

I think it relieved him of his guilt of not telling anyone, but I wouldn't go as far to say that it relieved it him of the guilt that he had letting Hassan be raped and THEN blaming her shortly after. It does state that a great moment of carthacisism is when he first admits it to his wife, but he must continue living to protect Sohrab because he could never undo what he had done.

I think Amir was relieved from his guilt, as he was able to somewhat right his wrongs from the past.

I think his guilt truly disappeared once he met Sohrab and opened up to his wife about everything he had done. I think that by him adopting him and fighting to take him back to America is just him proving that he was a good friend to Hassan, and he wants to make up for everything he had done in the past. Amir's guilt disappeared or he forgave himself when he was fighting for Sohrab from the beginning. Him adopting Sorhab I think is him proving that he can do good again, and he wants to make up for everything he had done in the past.
