KEY OPENINGS
Nov 13 to 24: “Border Tuner” at Ciudad Juárez and El Paso, bridges of light are controlled by the voices of participants on both sides of the US-Mexico border. The project is open to everyone, but we start every night with performances, talks and concerts: historians, indigenous leaders, poets, drag queen wrestlers, feminist rappers, philosophers and so on. There is also a program for our outdoor, bi-national forum tent with speakers such as Cuauhtémoc Medina from MUAC, Rita Gonzalez from LACMA, Tina Rivers Ryan from Albright Knox, Julio César Morales from ASU, Lucía Sanromán from LAA, Robin Greeley from U of Connecticut, Tatiana Flores from Rutgers and others. Please consider visiting: apart from my work, visitors will be able to see local artist studios, visit Marfa, see the ways that art is helping in the ongoing humanitarian crisis.
