I love the eForward function, but had a recent SNAFU when the company
I eForwarded to is no longer an active Loyaldog user. The rush job
that I sent on Friday was not received.

Is there a way to update the list and remove the companies that are
NOT available?

Hi Todd - We keep the inactive customers active but with reduced privileges
so they can have access to their data. e-Forwarding is a very nice feature,
but it is no substitute for a relationship with a customer or server.

Unless you are regularly sending a fair amount of volume to an agency on a
regular basis in this manner, please make sure you call the person you are
e-Forwarding to.

It is a good practice to call and heads up an agency because:

1) The agency may not be in business anymore.

2) An agency may have such a low workload that it only hits its command
center on the weekends to do affidavits and invoicing.

3) An agency may be a one or two person operation and they could be on a
vacation when your rush comes in.

4) That agency may not have enough resources available that day to get your
rush done in a timely manner.

Blindly e-Forwarding a job without contacting the receiving agency to let it
know that it is coming and making sure that they can handle it could result
in a huge disaster.

The e-Forwarding feature was designed to replace typing in new jobs and
attaching documents. It is NOT meant to replace any other common sense good
practices that you should normally follow when you forward work to another
agency.

I don’t check my site everyday since I do more PI/surveillance work than PPS.  It’s best if e-forwarding to make sure that person knows that it is being sent and okay to send that way.
