How about a little Bling?
There is a new update to the XML program – it is a blue button that says GPS NOW. What this button does is show you in a glance where all of your servers are in real time! This button is the start of some VERY advanced built-in GPS features that are designed to keep you way ahead of your competitors.
How does it do this? It uses GPS Satellites along with cell phone towers when the satellites can’t see your phone.
If you go to http://accutracking.com and add their inexpensive software onto your server’s GPS enabled phones, you can track them!
I have a $50/month unlimited BoostMobile phone from http://boostmobile.com/ . Its pretty cheap – I think I am charged a little extra for the GPS – with this inexpensive setup I am able to have http://accutracking.com track me! If I were a process serving business it will track all of my servers.
When you sign up there, they give you a company key and a key for each of your phones. Their best plan is $9.99/month per phone. That’s the one I have.
In LoyalDog under Configure->Company Variables, put the company key. Then under ServersàProcess Server/Subcontractor List, pull up each server and add in the key for their cellphones that you got from accutracking.
Once this is in place, you can use the new GPS NOW button. This will show you on a map where all of your servers are on one screen!

PS – We have much more powerful GPS features on the way – really incredible stuff with graphical movement histories over time, log comparison to attempts and completions, etc.. you wouldn’t believe where we’re going with this! The goal here is to make sure that you don’t get left out in the cold on a traverse or motion to quash hearing. If you can show your clients and prospective clients these kind of high-tech capabilities, you gain a distinctive edge over your competitors and may even be able to justify a higher price for your serves. They’re going to know that you’ve got game and that you’ve got it together! The true beauty of this system is that it is automatic. Simply load the software onto the phone and forget about it. The servers don’t need to do anything, it all runs in the background. They are not required to update the attempts and completions from the field for this to work. It tracks them anyway, even when they’re sleeping.
