At last you can finally throw a stack of affidavits/worksheets into the scanner and have it AUTOMATICALLY:
1) Scan each page
2) Read the barcode on that page
3) Make it into a PDF and attach it to that job
When finished it will give you a report showing you which jobs/barcodes it decoded and which ones failed decoding.
So far in testing it has not missed a barcode yet. We’re hoping for accuracy in the high 90%+ range in real life.
Come see it in action at the NAPPS conference in Portland on 5/31!
It is well worth the plane fare to see how your office can really go totally paperless with LD’s integrated document management.
This is hot – and pretty much makes you paperless. This is tested on Xerox Documate 152 which costs about $450.00 and scans 30 pages per minute. At 30 pages per minute you can swiftly scan your incoming process before it even hits the street.
Use the automatic batch scanning to scan completed work-orders and affidavits as soon as the server signs them or they return stamped from the court after filing. The program automatically sorts and attaches them and has them ready for the client to view online (if you choose). The big, big dogs pay thousands of dollars for scanners that do this, and more thousands of dollars for document management dealies to integrate with their software (that they also paid thousands of dollars to have written). You get it all included at no additional charge in your LoyalDog.
The real benefit here comes when you buy 2 or three of these little football-sized scanners because then nobody has to get up from their desk and stand in line at a $20,000 machine to scan their stuff. It’s all done from the workstation. J
Dying to test it on a Fuji…. Who’s got one?
