Does anyone know if it's possible to integrate the Shelly Motion with Loxone?

yes ive done it as a test, it works fine

ive used directly to a loxone virtual input via 'actions/motion detected' and 'action/end of motion detected' using
http://user:pa...@192.168.x.xxx/dev/sps/io/VI224/on
http://user:pa...@192.168.x.xxx/dev/sps/io/VI224/off

and also detailed parameters to loxberry using the 'internet & security/mqtt settings'

Duncan,

Thank you very much, really appreciate it. After I posted I had a quick search and found a Loxberry/Shelly video by Christian Fetzl so I ordered the motion sensor.

Shelly support also sent me this article which is a step by step guide to integrating Shelly with Loxone. Apologies if it has been linked to before!

Ohh. Might have to look into Shelly products again.

I can interrogate the Shelly Motion using a browser (eg ask for status or but I'm not sure I'm getting anything from it in Loxberry via MQTT. I followed Christians video on how to set up Loxberry and added the details into the Shelly Motion but I get this in Loxberry:Screenshot 2021-06-28 at 17.22.26.png

looks like you are not getting the motion sensor talking to  your mqtt server

have you tried the direct method to a virtual input instead of via the loxberry? or do you really need the loxberry route?

I tried the direct method initially and it didn't work but tried it again just now and it did! The VI stays high for the period specified in the motion blind time settings.

yep, glad you got that working ok

the mqtt stuff is useful for the battery level (set an alarm / trigger by sending the battery level to a loxone analog input) but thats about it really

I got this for a loft I very rarely use, went up there this morning and the Shelley didn't trigger the lights. I had to wake it up by inserting a pin into the hole by the micro usb port. I'm going to leave it in place again to see if this happens again, if it does is there anything I can send from Loxone to keep it awake?

You could use the status command. And get Loxone to send it once a day.
In theory it shouldn't fall asleep unless a power off command has been sent.
Also I guess if the battery power is below a certain level it might turn itself off.  Try recharging the battery and then see what happens.
Have you tried to see if you can access it via the shelly app.

Thanks Techdoctor, I will give this a go tomorrow and let you know what happens.

OK, got my hands on the device this morning. It had gone to sleep/turned itself off again so I looked in the app which said it was offline. This is what I did next.

I shook it to see if tamper alarm woke it up. It didn't.
Quick tap in left hole didn't wake it up.
Tap and hold didn't wake it up.
Connected it to power, it didn't wake up.
Tap and hold when connected to power woke it up.
Check in app for battery percentage, is at 21% as soon as it appears in app
Sleep time is set to 0

So maybe the battery was low although I'm pretty sure I charged it fully before installing.... I've put it back in place after making sure the battery is at 100%, lets see what happens next!

Just a quick note to say that I have to permanently power my Shelly to stop it hibernating after a few weeks. But that is fine with me and it's doing what I need it to so far.

Just a quick thought, what firmware are you on. Apparently there was a problem with 1.09 I think that's the right numbering.  The problem was first reported on an HT device where it went to sleep and never woke up again, sounds like you had a similar issue.
