Loxone IDC Tool ??

Just trying to install the tree valve actuators on my UFH manifold and it seems the IDC connections on the actuators need a specific "Loxone" IDC tool as a normal one doesn't fit.

Does anyone have one they'd like to sell or let me know where I can source one? Loxone don't appear to sell them separately as they come with the tree extension.

Hi Rob,

Normally this tool come with the Tree extension, in its package.

Yes, I know that but unfortunately my tree extension is one I "recycled" from the demo case.....!!

what tool have you tried as there is a krone or 110 style that you could try.

I've tried using the standard BT type tool but even with a bit of chopping and cutting it still doesn't seem to work that well and not all connections are being made.

I have a Krone/110 tool but that doesn't fit properly either!

I may have to start with a solid piece of hard plastic/metal and shape one myself as I can't justify buying a tree extension just to get a plastic tool..!!

annoyingly I've bought one second hand and I don't have the tool either! but don't have any tree devices to check.

tbh I'm ashamed to say I've used anything from screwdrivers to whatever is near before.. if you can actually see the idc part then you just need to guide the cable between the 'blades'. can you take a photo so I can have a look?

shouldn't really admit the above having a career in it.. but every now and then I've had to do something fast with limited tools at the time!
